Materials

Styrofoam packing peanuts

large, white plastic trash bag

white pillowcase

string

black buttons

needle and thread

marker

brimmed hat

beanbags

Instructions

1. Fill a large trash bag with packing peanuts and seal the bag with a twist tie.
2. Place the plastic bag inside a white pillowcase and tie or pin shut.
3. Using twine or string, tie around the pillowcase one third from the top to
create a head and lower body.
4. Sew on buttons for eyes and a nose, and draw a mouth.
5. Cover the tied-off top of the pillowcase with a brimmed hat.
6. Give each child a beanbag. Standing 5' away from the snowman, the children
take turns tossing their beanbags to try to knock the snowman's hat off.
