Snowflake Catch



Materials:

Black construction paper
Freezer
Snowflakes
Magnifying glass



Instructions:

1. Put black construction paper in the freezer.
2. When it snows, the children take the frozen
construction paper outside and catch snowflakes
coming down.
3. Give them a magnifying glass to observe their
flakes on the paper.

Art: Draw snowflake designs on paper. * Whip up Ivory Snowflakes with a little water into a
spreadable texture. Use cotton swabs to paint snowflake designs on black paper.
