What to do

1. Create patterns out of cardboard for the sun, moon, raindrops and lightning.

2. The children trace the patterns on construction paper, cut them out and then color and decorate with glue and glitter. Talk about the shapes and the weather as they work.

3. When the shapes are dry, punch a small hole at the top of each and have the children attach a string for hanging. You may have to secure the string with tape.

4. Hang around the classroom.
