Instructions
1. Give each child a shape cutout.
2. Sing the following song with the children to the tune of "Hokey Pokey," inviting them to hold out their shape when it is mentioned.You put your (name of a shape) in,You take your (name of a shape) out,You put your (name of a shape) in,And you shake it all about.You do the shapey gapeyAnd you turn yourself around.That's what it's all about.
3. Repeat the verse, naming a different cutout shape each time.
4. For the final verse, sing: You put all your shapes in.
