Instructions
1. Read The Very Hungry Caterpillar to the children. Tell them that they are going to make a class caterpillar. 2. Help the children cut or tear tissue paper into small pieces. 3. Ask the children to glue tissue paper to a paper plate. As each child's creation dries, add it to make a giant caterpillar on the classroom wall. 4. Create the head of the caterpillar by adding eyes, mouth, and antennae to a paper plate.
