Problem-Solving Puppet



Materials:

A puppet that looks like a boy or girl
empty coffee can
index cards



Instructions:

1. On each index card, write different problems that five-year-olds often encounter. Place the ideas in the coffee can.
2. Let the children take turns choosing a card.
3. Have the puppet read the problem to the class.
4. The children can help the puppet come up with ideas to solve the problem. This helps children increase their ability to solve their own problems.
