Instructions

1. Play marching music and invite the children to stand up and begin marching.

2. Have the children repeat numbers while marching. Begin with a 1-2 pattern, then a 1-2-3 pattern, and finally a 1-2-3-4 pattern.

3. Add other number patterns as the children are ready for them.

4. Add directions, such as skip to the right, take two steps to the left, and so on.
