1. Stand in front of the baby with another adult and take turns talking to
him.
2. Let the baby look back and forth between you and the other person to
learn to differentiate who is speaking.
3. Continue talking for a short period of time if the baby is enjoying this
experience. If she looks away or does not seem interested, stop and try
again at another time.
