Instructions

1. Give each child a hammer and pieces of foam.
2. Encourage the children to hammer tees into the Styrofoam. They can attach
smaller pieces to larger ones so they can build buildings, or whatever they
wish.
3. Show the children how to use the "claw" on the hammer to remove the
"nails" and use them again to build something different.
More to do
Math: Provide rulers or tape measures and ask the children to measure what
they are working on. Incorporate counting skills by giving them some instructions
such as, "Use 10 nails on this building."
