Instructions:

1. When taking attendance each morning, say each child’s name.
for Three-Year-Olds
2. Allow time for the child to say, “Good Morning.” Then ask the child a
question about his morning or the night before, or comment about an article
of clothing he is wearing or other outward appearance.
3. This allows for a personal interaction between the teacher and the child each
day.
More to do
Have a “style show” of new items that the child has brought in. For example, a
new hat for winter will lend itself to a discussion of the different types and
purposes of hats.
