Instructions

1. Invite the children to sing (or listen to you sing) the following song to
the tune of "Frere Jacques." Encourage them to make the gestures.

Isn't it so wonderful?
I can bend. (bend the knee)
I can bend. (bend the knee)
2. Sing the song again, using other body parts. Be sure to add a function
for the last two lines. For example:
Where is my eye?...I can see.
Where is my finger?...I can point.
Where is my mouth?...I can chew (or I can smile).
Where is my nose?...I can sniff (or I can smell).
Where is my foot?...I can stand (or I can jump).
Where is my hand?...I can wave.
