Materials

Scissors

Magazine pictures, old photos, or panels from empty toy or food boxes

Construction paper or light oak tag and glue, optional

Large zipper closure plastic bags

Instructions

1. Place a refrigerator box on its back.
2. Use a utility knife to cut an opening in the middle of the box to place chairs
(adult only).
3. Save the part you cut out of the box. Cut out a circle from this piece of cardboard
to make a steering wheel.
4. Encourage the children to paint the outside of the box.
5. Help the children glue paper plates onto the box to make lights and wheels.
6. Place chairs inside the box opening for seats.
7. Punch two holes into the steering wheel circle. Tie it to the Jeep using string.
