1. Talk to the children about the colors in the flag. Ask if anyone knows howmany stripes there are, or how many stars. Does anyone know why there are50 stars?2. Give each child a piece of blue paper and strips or red and white crepepaper.
3. After the children glue on their stripes, they attach their stars.
