Materials

One piece of white poster board, any size Crayons or markers in yellow, black, gray

Piece of cardboard or stiff paper Scissors

Paper clips Magnet

Glue Four wooden blocks

Instructions

1. Draw a piece of cheese in the upper left-hand corner of the poster board. Draw a black circle in the lower right-hand corner.

2. Draw a mouse, about 1 1/2 " (3.

5 cm) long, on cardboard or stiff paper and cut it out. On the back side of the mouse glue one or two paper clips and let dry.

3. Place the poster board on the blocks so that each corner is supported by a block.

4. Place the mouse on the black circle.

5. Hold the magnet underneath the poster board so that the magnet attracts the paper clips.

6. Now guide the mouse from the black circle to the cheese and back again to the black circle.More to doMore science: Attach several paper clips together. Glue the half shell of a pistachio nut at one end of the paper clip chain to make the head of a snake. Draw a jungle on the white piece of poster board. Guide the snake through the jungle by the same method as above.
