Instructions

What to do
1. Show the children a photograph or drawing of a log cabin, and point out how the logs are laid
neatly in rows to create the structure.
2. Set out peanut butter, pretzel sticks, and plastic knives.
3. Invite the children to spread peanut butter on graham crackers.
4. Ask the children to place pretzels so they look like logs.
5. Build a cabin (house), using the peanut butter as "glue."
6. Eat and enjoy!
More to do
More art: Give children craft sticks and glue and invite them to create little cabins. Using clay,
they can make creatures or people to live in them.
