Instructions
1. Invite the children to sit on the floor in the center of the room. Have them sit in a circle formation with their backs to the center of the circle.
2. Make the room as dark as possible so that children are still comfortable.
3. Tell them you will shine the flashlight on a "shape" in the room. When you point the light to the shape, the children should name the shape.
4. Repeat the activity several times.
5. Then shine the light on numbers instead of shapes and continue the activity.
