Instructions

1. Before naptime, put on soothing music (classical music works well).
Have the children gather in a small group.
2. As the children listen to the music, ask them to stretch and wiggle their
bodies to the rhythm of the music. "Stretch, stretch, stretch. Wiggle,
wiggle, wiggle. Get all the wiggles out of your body now. Soon it's time
to rest."
3. Ask the children to make big yawns with their mouths. Demonstrate
how to take a deep breath in and then push it out. Repeat.
4. Guide the children to the appropriate place for naptime.
