Instructions

1. Spread five to eight covered shoeboxes on the floor.
2. Provide a basket or large bowl for toys.
3. Show the children how to remove the lids from shoeboxes, put a toy
inside, and replace the top. Repeat the motions until the children begin
to copy you.
4. Let the children put toys in the boxes, take them out, and move them
from box to box, thus improving their motor skills.
More to do Cleanup: After play time, provide boxes to put the smaller toys away.
