they live with, and if
they share rooms or
bathrooms with siblings.
2. Talk about how important
it is to know how to share
space. Point out to the
children that they share
space together in the
classroom. Explain that
sharing space happens everywhere in the community.
3. Teach the children the following song:
This Home Is My Home by Susan Oldham Hill
(Tune: "This Land Is Your Land")
This home is your home,
This home is my home;
We work and play here,
We sleep and stay here;
It is not mystery
That we're a family;
This home was made for you and me.
Assessment
