Instructions
1. To add to the fun of cooking with young children, give each child a plain apron to decorate and personalize.2. Set out fabric paint in a variety of colors and sponges. Encourage the children to stamp designs onto their aprons.3. Help the children make handprints and write their names on their aprons to personalize them.4. Encourage the children to wear their aprons every time they bake!More to doHome Connection: The aprons make a nice end-of-the-year keepsake for the children. Invite parents to come in and be a guest "chef." Make a guest chef apron to keep in the classroom for parents to wear. (We also give each guest "chef" a golden spoon magnet as a thank you.)
