White or light colored paper, 8" x 10" (20 cm x 25 cm)
Instructions
What to do
1. Ask the children to cover the work area with newspapers.
2. Prepare the "paint" by mixing 1 tablespoon (15 mL) of water with each flavor of drink mix in
separate bowls.
3. Invite the children to paint with the drink mixes just as they would with any other kind of paint.
4. Let the paintings dry.
5. After the paintings have dried, encourage the children to "scratch the painting" to reveal the different
scents.
6. Explain to the children that if they mix the paint on their papers, they will get a whole new
scent! Experiment, and have fun!
