Instructions
1. Read the book Chicka Chicka Boom Boom to the children.
2. Make a coconut tree using brown and green felt.
3. Cut out the letters of the alphabet from construction paper or use the brightly
colored letters found in Chicka Chicka Sticka Sticka an ABC Sticker Book. Add
felt to the back of the letters using rubber cement (adult only).
4. Put the tree, letters, and a flannel board in the Book Center along with a
recording of the book so the children can sing along and recreate the rush of
the letters up the coconut tree.
