Instructions

1. After a unit on insects, encourage the children to talk about their favorite insects.

2. Set out ink pads and ask the children to use one finger to make fingerprints. Five or six fingerprints together form a caterpillar. Two fingerprints with wings form a butterfly. One fingerprint with legs makes a spider. Use a pen to make legs and eyes.
