Materials

Measuring cups

Water

Ivory soap flakes

Dish tubs

Instructions

1. Cut out a 30" x 30" square of fabric (large enough to cover the top
of a card table).
2. Cut out eight 16" x 27" panels of fabric.
3. If desired, encourage the children to decorate the fabric using fabric paint.
(If this is the case, use plain fabric.)
4. Sew two panels to each side of the fabric square, leaving 1/2 " seams.
5. Hem the raw edges.
6. Drape the finished product over the card table now you have a tent! The
children can also use it as a cave, house, garage, or anything else they desire.
It also can be used as part of an obstacle course, or a place to read books.
