Instructions
1. Ask each child to bring in a small riding toy to use during Safety Town week. (Send a note home to parents requesting this.)2. Create "roads" using white spray paint on the grass (adult only).3. Make a variety of traffic signs on poster board.4. Tape paint sticks to the signs for handles.5. Encourage the children to have fun "driving" around town!More to do:Art: Paint large boxes to create buildings to place around the "town."Literacy: Help the children paint traffic signs and write the words ("stop," "yield," and so on).
