1. On the floor or in the outdoor play area, draw large numerals from 1 to 10.
2. Call out a number, and encourage the children to run to the correct numeral.
3. As a variation, consider playing music and having the children walk from numeral to numeral, similar to musical chairs. When you stop the music, the children yell out the numbers they are standing on.
