Instructions
1. Cut out two to three flowers, approximately 14" to 16" (35 cm to 40 cm) in
diameter, from old book jackets.
2. With the children, use construction paper, markers, and other art materials to
decorate the flowers.
3. Laminate the flowers or cover them with clear contact paper.
4. Glue or tape each flower to a dowel rod.
5. Using contact cement, attach the dowels at varying heights to the back of a
large flowerpot.
6. Fill the pot with a variety of good books to make a "book choice" center.
7. On the front of the pot write, "Books in Bloom."
