Materials

Metal clothes hangers

net fruit bags (usually used for citrus fruit)

glue

tissue paper

Instructions

1. Bend a hanger into a circular shape. Make one for each child.
2. Show the children how to glue a net fruit bag to the hanger to make a net.
3. Encourage the children to make butterflies from rectangles of tissue paper by
twisting them in the center.
4. The children can throw the butterflies into the air and catch them with the net.
