Tagboard scissors or die-cut machine variety of art supplies
Instructions
1. Precut or die-cut gingerbread figures using tagboard.
2. Give each child two figures one for the child to decorate in any way he chooses and one for the parents to decorate to represent their child.
3. Encourage the parents to be creative and use pictures, stickers, markers, sequins, and so on.
4. On the bulletin board, hang the gingerbread children so they are hand-in-hand.
5. Above the children, write a title such as "Joined in love and learning," or "We are learning hand-in-hand with our friends."
