Paper plates one slice of bread per child assorted leaf-shaped cookie cutters 1 pat of butter per child cinnamon plastic knives oven
Instructions
1. Ask the children to wash their hands.
2. Give each child a paper plate and a slice of bread.
3. Show the children how to use a cookie cutter to cut out a leaf shape from the bread.
4. Encourage the children to spread the pat of butter and sprinkle cinnamon evenly on top of the butter.
5. Put the leafy shapes into the oven.
6. Warm in the oven until the butter melts and the bread turns a golden brown.
7. Let the children munch and crunch their leaves!
