Instructions

1. Designate a day to be "Bring Your Teddy Bear to School Day." Send a note
home to parents notifying them of the date.
2. On Teddy Bear Day, make each child a bear headband to wear all day. Cut
out ears and bands from brown construction paper. Staple two ears to each
band. Give one to each child and staple it to fit around the child's head.
3. For snack, slice cookie dough and put it on a cookie sheet. Bake as directed.
4. After the cookies cool, give each child two cookies to decorate bear heads
using tubes of frosting.
5. Sing songs or use finger rhymes that relate to teddy bears and ask the children
to make their bears do the movements.
More to do
Music and Movement: Play Raffi's song Teddy Bear Hug and act out the motions
