Instructions
1. Help each child label the inside of the lid, the egg cups, or both by
numbering them from 1 to 10.
2. Let the children decorate the outside of their boxes. Help the children write
their names on their boxes.
3. Children can use their "counting boxes" to make patterns using plastic eggs,
to count how many counters fit in each section, to use for hands-on addition
and subtraction, sorting, and so on.
4. This is good for learning one-to-one correspondence, patterning, addition,
subtraction, counting, sorting, numeral recognition, and early multiplication
(10 cups holding 10 counters each equals 100).
