Autumn Hunt


Paper lunch bags
Pictures of fall finds
Markers, crayons


1. Talk with the children about how autumn is different from the other seasons. Discuss things they may find on a walk.
2. Give each child a paper bag and a list with pictures of things to look for on their autumn hunt.
3. When you return from your walk, the children can take their list and bag to the Art Center and make pictures of the things they found.

Art: Bring extra finds back for the Art Center. Children can glue and color their own autumn scenes.
More science: Bring your own finds back to display in the Science Center.
