1. Help the children cut yellow paper into the shape of a bus. 2. Help the children to dip empty spools into black paint. 3. Encourage the children to paint "wheels" all over the bus using the spools. More to do Dramatic Play: Set up chairs to resemble bus seating with a driver seat in front. Place a small bucket on the floor next to the driver seat. Ask one child to be the bus driver. Give each child (except the driver) a block to use as a token. While "riding on the bus," sing "Wheels On the Bus," changing the destination to where ever the children want to go.
