ribbons, scarves, and fabric pieces

Instructions

1. Divide the children into small groups. Give the groups different
instruments (the members of one group may have jingle bells, the
members of another group may have shakers, and so on).
2. Encourage the children to become familiar with their instruments and
practice playing them along with the music.
3. Have all of the groups come together for a classroom music-making
experience. Play the music as children play their instruments. Children
may also dance with ribbons and scarves to the music.
