Materials

Photos of each child, teacher, classroom pet, or anyone important to the class index cards or sentence strips glue stick computer, typewriter, or marker alphabet chart stapler

Instructions

1. Glue each person's picture onto an index card, sentence strip, or piece of paper. (Sizes will depend upon the size of the photo and the size of your alphabet chart.)2. Using a computer, typewriter, or marker, clearly write each person's name next to the picture.

3. As you study a letter of the alphabet, add the corresponding name and photo (if any) to your alphabet chart. Staple it below the chart so the children can see whose name(s) starts with that letter.

4. Add other important words such as "mom," "dad," and "love" to the alphabet chart.
