* February is National Children's Dental Health Month. 1. Have the children brush their teeth using their own toothbrushes and toothpaste. 2. Let them take turns looking in the mirror. Encourage them to "smile" and see how clean their teeth look. 3. Have the children draw large circles on yellow construction paper. Then ask them to draw eyes, a nose, and a big smiling mouth with teeth on their circles. 4. Help the children cut out their smiling face circles. 5. Send the children's smiling faces home to be hung in their bathrooms as a reminder to brush their teeth every day. More to do Dramatic Play: Put clean toothbrushes and toothpaste in the housekeeping area for children to use with the dolls.
