Instructions

1. This activity works well with three to six children.
2. Read Baby Bird's First Nest to the children.
3. Give each child or pair of children a nest, tweezers, and a magnifier.
4. Encourage the children to explore and dissect their nests as you ask openended
questions.
5. Write "What We Found in a Nest" on a large sheet of paper. Ask the children
to glue pieces of what they found in their nests on the paper. Write the
child's name next to his item.
