Laura Wilhelm, EdD, is professor of Family Services and Child Development at Rose State College in Midwest City, OK. Laura has taught pre-k, kindergarten, first, and third grades in urban and suburban schools. She has directed a child development laboratory and has taught graduate and undergraduate courses for teachers and administrators at several universities. She has been a national validator for the National Association for the Education of Young Children and a site visitor for the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Programs. She has also enjoyed speaking at conferences, leading study tours, and visiting early education programs in Germany, England, Wales, Belgium, France, Italy, and China. She is learning to embrace teaching via Zoom. So much Zoom. Laura loves spending time with her family and walking her dog. This is her third book with Gryphon House.
