3 years & up. Children will become familiar with community helpers such as construction workers, doctors, and firefighters while developing literacy and math skills. This toolbox includes a set of language cards that introduce new vocabulary, multiple sorting boards for math activities, a set of community helper figurines for engaging in dramatic play, and 24 tiles with pictures and beginning letter sounds to encourage language and literacy at all levels. 

The Community Helpers Exploration Toolbox encourages children to explore the people and places that make up a community. Through a variety of engaging activities and materials, early learners are provided developmentally appropriate learning opportunities that promote alphabet knowledge, phonological awareness, language development, sorting, numbers and quantities, interaction and more.
