Tonia Durden, PhD, is a clinical associate professor of early childhood and elementary education and is a program coordinator at the Georgia State University College of Education and Human Development. Dr. Durden’s primary scholarship and research trajectory focuses on exploring how to develop and support African American children’s socio-cultural development and create racially equitable learning experiences for children of color.
