Jill Jacobi-Vessels, Ph.D. served as an administrator of children’s programs for more than 30 years. She recently retired after 14 years as the executive director of a nationally accredited, campus-based children’s center and lab school where she oversaw daily operations, supervised 60 staff members, and supported up to 154 children and their families.
She holds a master’s degree in interdisciplinary early childhood education and a Doctorate in Teaching and Learning - Early Childhood. Dr. Jacobi-Vessels taught university courses in early childhood education, including an international studies course to Reggio Emilia, Italy. She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the National Coalition for Campus Children’s Centers (N4C), and the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
