Instructions

1. Give each child a rice cake. Encourage them to spread peanut butter on their
rice cakes, noticing the pits, mountains, and valleys.
Note: Be aware of any peanut allergies. If a child is allergic to peanut butter,
choose a different spread such as cream cheese.
2. Children place three to five dinosaur fruit snacks on the peanut butter.
3. As children eat their dinosaur creations, practice math skills by creating story
problems. For example, "There were five dinosaurs in the tar pits, and one
was eaten. How many were left?"
