Instructions

1. Teach the children how the Eskimo people live in the Arctic by building your
own igloo.
2. Cover a round table with a white bed sheet or white fabric.
3. Then cover a box with white paper, leaving both ends open so children can
crawl through the box into the igloo. Let the children take dolls, play dishes,
and so on into the igloo. This will help them understand that igloos are
houses that the Eskimo people live in made out of snow.
4. Read books about how the Eskimo people really live. Talk about the different
kinds of homes people live in.
