* Groundhog Day is February 2nd.
1. Take the children outside on a sunny day and have them look at their
shadows. Ask them to make their shadows tall, short, long, little, high,
low, in a straight line, and so on.
2. Have them choose a partner. Show the pairs how to put themselves next
to each other to form shadow letters with their bodies.
