Instructions

1. Send home a note to parents explaining the developmental skills of
recognizing big, bigger, and biggest; small, smaller, and smallest; and so on. Ask
the parents to help their child trace a shoe of each family member on the
provided paper and cut out.
2. Provide paper and pencils for children to take home.
3. After the children trace the shoes, the parent can help them to label each
shoe and cut them out.
4. Invite the children to measure things in the classroom with their shoe cutouts.
When finished, have them glue them in order by size onto a piece of paper
for classroom display.
