Materials
Baby food jars, one for each child Pudding mix
Milk Spoons, popsicle sticks or tongue depressors
Instructions
1. Each child needs a small, screw-top jar.
2. Put about 3 tablespoons (45 ml) of dry pudding in each jar and add the same amount of milk.
3. Screw on the lid to the jar.
4. Let the children shake, shake, shake! Play your favorite dancing music. This can be a great movement activity for a rainy day! Play Greg and Steve's song, "Popcorn," substituting pudding for the title, and shake it up!5. Take off the lid and ta dah! Pudding! Depending on the size of the mouth of the jar, a popsicle stick or a tongue depressor may be a good alternative to a spoon.More to doMore cooking: Use vanilla pudding and a few drops of food color to tie this activity in to a color or holiday theme. Put the pudding in a paper cup, add a popsicle stick and put it in the freezer, and you have a frozen treat.
