Instructions

1. This is a fun way for children to get their wiggles out just before circle time
or whenever they have been sitting a while and are about to move to
another activity.
2. Sing the following song to the tune of "Little Red Wagon." Encourage the
children to do the actions in the song. When you get to "Stop," the children
put up their hands as if to say, "Stop," and freeze in place.
3. Repeat the song, adding another verse and actions. Remind them they need
to stay in their given areas on the floor.
Stomp, stomp, stomp, little children,
Stomp, stomp, stomp, little children,
Stomp, stomp, stomp, little children,
While I sing this song.
STOP!
Wiggle your fingers, little children,
Wiggle your fingers, little children,
