Instructions

1. Give each child an 8" x 10" piece of white paper. Ask the children to paint
their papers dark blue. Set the paintings aside.
2. On the next rainy day, let the children run outside to "catch" raindrops on
their papers. (This works best with a soft rain.)
3. Let dry on a flat surface.
4. Talk with the children about what happened. Notice how the drops
changed the colors of the paint on their paper.
