Materials

heavy whipping cream

salt

small plastic containers (one for each child)

bunny cookie cutters

bread slices

cheese slices

grape halves

cherry tomato halves

cream cheese

ketchup

Instructions

* Easter is usually celebrated on the first Sunday after the first full moon
following the vernal equinox (first day of Spring). This can fall anywhere
between March 22nd and April 25th.
1. Make butter with the children by putting a small amount of whipping
cream and a pinch of salt in plastic containers (one for each child).
Encourage them to close the lids and shake for five minutes.
2. Use bunny cookie cutters to cut bread slices. Spread with butter.
3. Cut more bunnies from cheese slices and put them on top of the bread.
4. Encourage the children to decorate their snacks with grape and tomato
halves, ketchup, and cream cheese.
